Life Hacks: How to Organize Your Fridge

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

If you’re looking to eat smarter, having your food prepped and ready in your fridge is a clever way to hack your lifestyle. Having your food sliced and stored ahead is perfect for when you’re hungry and ready to chow down with an easy and fast recipe.

Here are a few tips to organize your fridge for maximum food health and efficiency:

Bins, bins and more bins!

Having clear bins or plastic fridge dividers is really handy for storing your juices and water bottles, along with other smaller products.  You can use stackable bins for your dairy items like cheese and deli meats. They’re really great because you can save so much space and properly fit everything according to your fridge capacity. It’ll save you time looking for those tiny products that end up getting lost in the dark tunnels of your fridge.

Mason jars

Everyone on this entire planet should collect Mason jars! You can easily prep your smoothies, salads or granolas, and have them ready for whenever you’re craving a healthy snack. Salads will normally stay fresh for about 1-2 weeks, so you won’t have to worry about your veggies spoiling. One of the reasons I love Mason jars is that you can take them anywhere you go and they keep everything neat and clean for when you’re on the go.

Prep Trays

Another way to hack your fridge is to prepare your food with all the ingredients on a stor-all storage tray. Let’s say you know you’re going to have a busy day the next day. With these trays, you can have your pizza ingredients prepared ahead of time and ready to go. This is a great for busy families, if you’re a working mom or working dad or maybe you’re just having a busy day. Everything is already prepped and measured out and now all that is needed is to pop it in the oven and take that first mouth-watering bite.
