Do you have piles of magazines sitting around your house? I love magazines- all kinds- and I hate to throw them out. There’s something about those glossy pages that makes me want to hold on to them. Not to mention the fact that I paid for them! Sometimes I pass them on so someone else gets to enjoy them, but when I don’t, they sit around until I think about putting them in the recycling pile.   2. Crafting. There is no limit to the amount of crafts you can make with magazines. Pinterest is a great place to look for projects and ideas.
  3. Beads. Make beads out of strips of old magazines and turn them into colorful and unique jewelry. Here are some basic instructions.
  4. Holiday ornaments and party decorations.
  5. Paper flowers.
  6. Boot trees. This is brilliant: roll up a magazine and stand it up in a tall boot to help keep its shape.
  7. Drawer liners. More fun than plain ones.
