Who here wears glasses or contacts? You know that moment when you put them on and the world suddenly becomes clear? How great is that? Even better when your glasses are clean. There’s a great freebie up on the Health page- click here to get a coupon for a free lens cloth and cleaner from Walmart. All you have to do is print it and present it. Sometimes, though, there is so much that we don’t see, even when our lenses are clean. In order to see those things, we need some inner vision. Here are some of the things we might not be seeing:

  • The truth: I’m not calling anyone a liar, but I think that a lot of us miss the truth sometimes because, even if we’re looking at something, we’re not really seeing. It’s always better to take a deeper look before jumping to conclusions or judging. Seeing beyond the surface can make life a little richer.
  • Ourselves: Do we ever really look at ourselves? Or do we see only what we want to see? How hard are you on your appearance, without seeing your true beauty? Do you see your potential? Do you see what you stand for? Look at yourself and see who you really are.
  • Opportunities: Did you know that the chocolate chip cookie came to be as a result of mistake? It was intended to be a cake, and… you know the rest. Can you imagine life without chocolate chip cookies? Find opportunities everywhere.
  • The good: I know it’s corny to say that every cloud has a silver lining, but if you really see, you know it’s true. Sometimes we might find ourselves in a bad place, things not working out, you’re feeling bad. It happens to all of us, but ultimately, the world is not a bad place. There is good everywhere; sometimes you just have to make an effort to see it.
